A personal approach to Tarot
I’ve been reading Tarot for more than 25 years, teaching others how to work with the cards and creating my own decks along the way. Desire Tarot grew from wanting to make thoughtful, individual readings available in a way that fits around real life, whether you need clarity late at night, early in the morning or simply don’t want to wait for an appointment.
My approach is grounded, intuitive and direct. I look at the cards as a whole, take into account the question you’ve asked, and tell you what I genuinely feel the reading is pointing towards. I won’t force a story where information is missing, and I won’t dress up uncertainty as certainty.

When you pay for a reading, you are asking a question that is specific to your own life, and the cards are drawn and interpreted with only your situation in mind. You receive a fuller, written response that you can sit with and return to, rather than a passing thought for the day. It is the difference between a gentle nudge and guidance that actually meets you where you are.
About Desire Tarot
Tarot, without the theatre.
Desire Tarot is the practice of Stephanie, who has read tarot for more than twenty five years. It is a quiet, private way to use the cards for reflection and perspective, with no performance to it. The cards offer symbolism, and symbolism gives you another angle from which to look at a question you are already carrying.
The experience is intentionally written rather than spoken. You do not need to speak to anyone, appear on camera or find a time in the diary. You can ask at any hour, day or night, and there is no appointment to arrange. You read your reading privately, whenever it suits you, and you can return to it later.
Stephanie is a working name. Tarot is a personal thing to bring to someone, and keeping a little distance allows the reading itself to stay the focus rather than the reader.
People arrive here with all sorts of questions: work, a relationship, a decision that has stalled, a change they are weighing up, or simple curiosity about what today's card might encourage them to consider. Desire Tarot makes no claim to control or predict what happens next. It offers a considered perspective, and leaves the decisions with you.

How does the free Daily Card work?
Take a moment to think about what is on your mind, then reveal your card. One card is selected at random from the Desire Tarot deck and comes with a written interpretation, a reflective suggestion and a question to carry with you. It costs nothing.
Why can I only reveal one Daily Card?
A single card gives you something to sit with. Drawing repeatedly until a nicer card appears rather defeats the purpose, so your card stays with you for the rest of the day. Another will be waiting tomorrow.
Do I need to speak to someone for a private reading?
No. Private readings are written and delivered by email. There is no video call, no telephone conversation and no appointment to arrange.
How will I receive my reading?
Privately, by email, as a beautifully presented written reading. One Question and Three Card Guidance readings are usually with you within 24 hours of payment being confirmed. The In-Depth Reading is reviewed personally by Stephanie before it is sent, so it can take a little longer.
